Update from Texas. . .

So. . . we've been really busy lately! If you haven't noticed; it's been a while.

But it's a beautiful sun-shinny day, at 45* with a high of 61* and a slight breeze (3mph) if you can call it that.

And It's official news now! We are "Under Contract"
So we've been looking for a new place to call home. We've looked at "Ole' McDonald's Farm", "Tarzan's Jungle", "Great-Grandmother house", and a few others. AND, now it's down to the hard part; trying to find "The ONE" we both love and that's in our price range, or wait until one pops up! And there's a job or two that need to be had, and talking to bankers, and MORE packing and hauling. We have one load here, and Warner is actually out "working" for the first time this week, today. He says that he feels like he's just been eating and riding around and eating again and riding around looking some more. So hopefully it will be good therapy and who knows what else the man he's with will get him into!
And then this afternoon we get to go spend the night with the All American Family
And then tomorrow it's back to traveling and then back to work.

NOW. . .

Before you all get to thinking that "this was all my idea", I want you to know that I've tried to warn him that it's gonna be different in TX. That it gets really HOT and stays that way for a realllly long time. And we will still be a few hours from my family, but closer to some of Warner's as well. * And please remember that we are a husband-wife team and we work together to keep each other happy! * This is not a rash decision and has been give MUCH thought and prayer. We want what's best for the future of our family. We have sought God's guidance continually thru it all.

Warner's got his eye on 10 acres and a pond. And I have to admit I'm okay with that, too! I mean where in Laramie would our kids build a tree house? Warner knows all to well how hard it is; why he's even tried to build a tree, so he could build a tree house!
We feel very welcome here even by the town itself. Warner is excited because there's an RC-airplane "airport", there's an ATV mud park, trees to climb, vines to swing into ponds from (@ Tarzan's Jungle) AND several LARGE lakes and a new proposed even bigger one coming for fishing, swimming, and water-sports, the Rose Festival, an antique tractor show circuit, all just to name a few! Not to mention a bit longer growing season for the garden! ;)

So see, JennyJen there will be all sorts of FUN reasons for you to come visit!
