We have had fun learning about some of the different ways of measuring things...Bathroom scale to weigh the kids, kitchen scales to weight toys and such, ruler, yard stick, tape measure, Legos, ...
We even talked about Mom's measuring cups & spoons in the kitchen

Story hour at the library was ALWAYS one of my most fun events to go to while growing up. Lots of great memories tied to that! I hope it's the same for your kiddos! :)
